This is the funniest part of that WSJ editorial trying to defend Justice Thomas. Yes, in fact, it was "somehow disreputable." We could argue about why, or we could take it from Justice Thomas himself: he illegally concealed it precisely because he knew it was "disreputable."

@maxkennerly The best part is after this claim about supposedly unfair, prejudicial adjectives, the next paragraph ends by labeling those ethicists skeptical of Thomas's behavior as "cherry-picked".

@warren__terra @maxkennerly c'mon, just consider all the times he was not on a billionaires super yacht. Id venture to guess that most of the time he is not receiving bribes. It's only an occasional treat.
