So my jobs karma story looks like it has a crappy ending. I was sent the official form to sign to get the background check and all that done and was informed that to access a facility I will need to access at times....I have to accept the vaccine into my life. My PCP had already advised me NOT to get this when I saw him last year. And I already had Rona and got over it. This was looking like my dream job and its all going to fall apart.

I'm curious what kind of facility... @bigern314 ... requires the vaxx these days, and why? Especially if you've had it! @GluedToTheScreen Not sure. I'd be running the networks at several remote sites though the job is totally remote unless I need to put hands on a switch or router for some reason. The company is a subsidiary of a larger French company so I don't know if this is a standard policy from them or what.

@bigern314 speak to a lawyer? There are already lawsuits happening of people who were required to get it against their religion. If you're religious, play that card. If not, pretend you are anyway. But honestly, if that company is forcing this, I'd look elsewhere because who knows what else they'll pull.Maybe they'll require all men to chop off their dicks and become trannies. No telling where it will all end.

@bigern314 tell them you have a religious exemption. Turn in the necessary paperwork with your HR.If they turn you down sue them.My work had a mandatory vaccine requirement. I turned in my exemption and haven't heard squat since. And still employed.

@Pnakp As I'm not even employed there yet I don't know if I would have much legal ground for lawsuits. I'm looking at my options but you are right, it isn't a good sign. Just sucks as they money was good, the work setup was just what I want, and there was a future for growth.

@GluedToTheScreen I just got the email Friday evening so I haven't had time yet. I'm going to check with my Doctor tomorrow and see if there is any exemption form he can give me then go from there.
