Open to suggestions for babies with colic. Our 7 week old screamed for 4 hours straight, until she was gasping for air. It was horrible. I bought $100 of various Gripe waters as the "woman owned business" of mommy's bliss doesn't work. Going to try the 150 year old Woodwards. We've tried sensitive formula instead of breast milk, moving her legs around to release gas, various positions of holding her, bounding on am exercise ball, climbing steps. We're at our wits end. Open to suggestions.

@Pnakp worst advice ever but its true: nothing. Or doc did recommend benadryl once a week to help us stay sane.

@Pnakp oh, wife reminded me 'swaddling blanket' worked on our youngest. Wrapped her up tight

@Krez yeah we've been doing that. I can't do nothing, she sounds like she's dying. I'll keep trying different things, even if they're all futile at least I know I'm trying to fix it. I've heard the same advice as you from my mother as well. We'll see, thank you.

@Pnakp formula definitely won't help. Might be something the wife ate. Try bland non-gassy foods for her

@Iamthebammbamm yeah we've been eating cabbage so I'm sure that's not helping.

@Pnakp Oh, I’m so sorry you guys are going through this right now. Praying for some relief soon for you all. Our son wasn’t colicky, but he was extremely fussy. We happened upon a particular hold that seemed to soothe him and would use that whenever he was freaking out. (Kind of a horizontal football hold, stomach-to-stomach)Also, do whatever you can to get thru this, whether it’s the “right” thing to do or not, according to experts. Those rules are for regular babies, not our special kids 🙂

@VeddyBadAng thank you, regarding the last paragraph, we've already discovered this lol. Such as cosleeping; in the morning, when she wakes up fussy, we've been bringing her up to bed with us. She lays in between at the head of the bed outside of the covers. My wife breast feeds laying down on her side. We ensure the blankets aren't over her and it's a king size bed so there is plenty of space. We don't sleep super soundly with her in bed so we feel it's not too unsafe. It's that or go insane.

@Pnakp If you use simethicone gas drops, put them in a bottle before feeding. Don't feed them directly to the baby. Simethicone is an anti-foam. Use it to remove the air bubbles from the liquid. Add a few drops to the bottle, shake, and look for bubbles. Don't be scared to add a few more until it's bubble-free. Getting the bubbles out beforehand solved all the problems our kid had. We also avoided formula with added iron. The high-iron stuff tore him up. Hope y'all get some relief...

@Pnakp Exactly! With our first, I was fretting over not doing things the “right” way and my boss said “Just do what you need to do to survive right now.” Best advice anyone gave me 😆
