@bleakfuture @Adam_Cadmon1 It sure looked like the TN GOP gave up with the pretense of dog whistling today. From my perspective here it seems like they may have gone too far too soon and I'm looking forward to those two Justins being able to use the political capital the GOP provided them today to help start breaking their power here.

@GreenFire @bleakfuture That is what I took from it as well. Those two young men seemed to have the overwhelming support of the people present who were not part of the house. I hope to continue to see them fight for the people.

@Adam_Cadmon1 @GreenFire until we can fall into ranks and support one another instead of in-fighting and trying to outflank ourselves on the left we’ll continue losing to these garbage people. Say what you will - but they’ll stand lock step and on message… no matter how preposterous that message is. It unifies them and they operate as a bloc - meanwhile we had Bernie Bros voting for Trump because they’re salty about the primary races. The left has the moral high ground but no cohesion.

@bleakfuture @GreenFire That seems to be the case. There is a small minority of people who generally align right of center, often far right of center. There's not many of them, but they are unified in purpose. There's strength in that.Those of us on the left, and maybe far left, can't seem to unite under common cause. And I think part of that may be because many of us have such a strong moral compass. Misguided though it may be.
