@CliffWade Yeah, I know for me, I work at a small startup, but it has gotten pretty big since i've gotten here. I doubt any layoffs will happen, but we have had hiring freezes.

@joshuapack I work for Nova Launcher, but Branch Metrics acquired Nova last year. Branch isn't small, but they aren't huge either. They are pretty decently sized. We're still hiring, thankfully and I hope it continues to be like that.

@CliffWade we do both, but depends on position I think. I work fully remote now, but am close enough to go in every once in awhile. About an hour and some change away.

@CliffWade and this all stems back to the fed. The fed raised interest rates to stop the inflation caused by printing trillions during covid for stimulus checks and over a decade of near zero interest rates after the 2008 housing crash, which was caused by the policies made to help after the 2001 .com crash, which... Well, you get the picture. The only way to stop the boom and bust cycle is to stop accepting the dollar and any other government controlled fiat money which can be manipulated at eill to tax the average person via inflation. It doesnt matter if you use gold, silver or crypto as long as the government cant control the supply. These too big to fail institutions need to fail and that will hurt for a while. Businesses are like forests, keep the ones that would fail from failing is like letting tons of underbrush build up in a forest. Now when the enevitable forest fire does occur it will be hot enough to burn down the entire forest instead of just the understory leaving the big trees in tact.
