       Probably not going to finish the eye splice. I must have re-done it 3 times today(4th time total), and it's *still* not perfect. Getting there though.I am finding it difficult to keep the strands from unravelling(taped ends, i twist as I tuck), especially after the second tuck. It is murder on my hands, and I broke the tip of my DIY fid XD...I will practice on small ropes for a little while, and then move back to 12mm (1/2").#finishit
