       To give an idea of where the project is now, I've storyboarded, blocked and rehearsed on location with the actors and DOP, made a detailed shooting schedule with contingency added, arranged for meals and snacks, watched a tonne of films for inspo, and annotated my script for the day.Still, I firmly believe there is no such thing as to much preparation! I really want this film, and the experience itself for everyone involved, to stand out in a positive way.Thanks in advance for any tips! 😃

       @MattMerk @AshleyMarineP My shot lists include equipment needed, crew needed, estimated setup time, and estimate shot time.  I build my shoot days from these shot lists.  That way I get every shot I am planning for.

       @EarlDGray @MattMerk Thank you both for this advice! We have a shot list (technically prioritised, as we need to get it all in one day, but I've made concessions to simplify based on recce with DOP) and a shooting schedule with contingency added. I'll keep reviewing them until the day to make sure I'm not forgetting or overcomplicating anything.

       @EarlDGray @MattMerk Yes, very good point. Very similar to when I was a wedding photographer about a decade ago. When the day gets crazy, it's easy to skim past the details that you took so long to plan, but that's how you miss important stuff!
