An example of why I hate practical jokes - like a lot of #autistic folk, while I have serious trust issues, in the moment, I tend to believe people.A few years ago, I studied for a really important work test. It was hard, and very badly taught. I worked myself hard and passed third time. After that, NT Colleagues decided it would be funny to keep telling me I'd failed and was going to have to redo it again.Because I'd believe them and get upset.Which was funny@actuallyautistic

@DarkSheepArts @actuallyautistic I don't think it was because your colleagues were NT. I think it was because they were assholes.

@actuallyautistic They didn't do this once, btw. They did it again, and again, and again, and management didn't help because I was being "over sensitive."

@BarrenPlanet @actuallyautistic Oh, that too! To be fair, my current colleagues are NT and they're not like that at all.

@DarkSheepArts @actuallyautistic I'm not sure whether there's an objective measure for assholery, but I'm going to say it's probably fairly evenly distributed across the neuro spectrum. 😉
