       I have a technical Windows question for everyone here.Is there a tool that will track the changes that an install file makes to a system, and then compare the state if I remove the software (with the included removal).I want to test to see how much "extra" is left from installing various ICS software and IDEs.#ICS #ControlSystems #SCADA

       I'm thinking about doing a third party review series of different protection and control platforms, then move into SCADA and maybe PLCs. But one of the things that I want to rate is the vendor bloatware impact, and I don't know of a controlled way to do that.

       @Jeff im not trying to hock their solutions but Defender ATP (by MS) will give you a timeline of all of the things installed and removed from a system.  I am not sure if you can get that data on the host itself as they keep it all in their cloud.  If you can get a hold of the timeline you could diff it.
