@kingu #Vivaldi. Because I like its UI and am one of its translators (I like to use software I have translated myself, because of quality :)).

@kingu That would have to be a browser that * has primarily keyboard oriented interface, i.e., does not require visual find/point/clck clumsiness * respects my freedom, and let me run a patched version of a site's javascript * works equally well in (preferred) text mode * is fully programmable, preferrably in scheme (or lisp), like Emacs * can be fully configured in a declarative way, e.g., with guixhave i forgotten something?

@kingu #Firefox because I can make it look like a true part of my #Gnome desktop and it's more powerful than Epiphany (aka Web). Plus, it's independent of Google.

@kingu #Librewolf, a fork of #Firefox, because it has extra privacy built-in and doesn't have weird things like Pocket or #Google trackers like vanilla Firefox has :blobcatthinksmart:

@kingu Vivaldi because I wanted to try a unified workflow from the same team that brought me Opera (Presto). Where this isn't possible, I use Firefox.

@kingu #Vivaldi because of its Team listening users, level of customization of full-featured browsers and all services (mail, blogs, mastodon instance...) offered for free.

@kingu for the moment it's Firefox. I like to use the same browser on all my devices. I like the ability to use extensions on Android and I like using something besides just Chromium. It could easily change to something else tomorrow.I do like Vivaldi, but it tries to do too much and I'd prefer more focus on privacy and security over some of their choices. Their email client is okay, but I prefer Thunderbird.

@kingu Firefox. Historically what I've been using. The only alternative for "modern" websites. Otherwise everything is just chrome, edge ? chromium (proprietary), google chrome ? chromium (proprietary), brave ? chromium (proprietary), vivaldi ? chromium (proprietary).

@kingu Firefox, because everything else is based on chrome/chromium and google bad. Also Firefox has "Tree Style Tab".
