       So now the #PeerTube instance I've been using has decided it's closing down to become a Mastodon instance dressed up to look like Twitter, and I have to move all my videos and amend every post that points to a  video so it points to the new URL instead.Didn't get any email about this, just spotted a banner when I went to upload a file.Loving this #fediverse experience.(So not in the mood for this right now.... ffffffffffs.)

       I can see average people getting really hacked off with the #fediverse if it remains the way it is. Right now folks are enthusiastic because it's new and they're desperate to get away from Musk. But when they've lost all their posts a few times because #Mastodon only migrates their social graph, or had to reupload all their videos because they used #PeerTube then the instance shut down, or the same with other apps, how many will stay and keep doing that every 3-6 months?
