       To give you a sense of what an unsophisticated person I am relative to the world today, I'm genuinely happy to finally have a couple of inside garbage cans that have lids that pop open when you step on a pedal. Yep, I'm easily amused.

       @lauren We had one of those, and it started to wear the finish off our floor as it scooted around. The real solution was to get one   with an electronic sensor that opens automatically.

       @lauren My kitchen has one of those garbage cans that robotically opens automatically whenever you put your hand above it to drop something in; so, now I impatiently expect this from every garbage can that I encounter in the rest of the world.😂
