Thanks to @benjaminhollon I spent my night watching nvim videos and configuration, and even install #nvim

@hyde @benjaminhollon hope you end up loving it. Check out some of the native LSP stuff. Mason.nvim is a great plug-in to make getting up and running with it pretty straightforward.

@hydejust a heads up for when you eventually get addicted to #nvim like us all.Tinkering with your config is as satiating to your thirst for a better workflow as drinking from the sea 😉

@TomRobinsonIO @benjaminhollon I found there is way too much things by default. I'll probably port the things I use with my vim... and see if I switch or not :) I have already LSP things configured on my side 😉

@brunorobert @hyde I thought you have done it already. I'm so disappointed... That should not be a surprise coming from a lazy bear 😂

@wwwgem Exactly! But, Lua will probably be probably an interesting thing to work with since I'm already using #awesomewm

@hyde @TomRobinsonIOThat's pretty much how I'm tackling things. Get everything ported first (to lua, in my case), then decide if I want to add things.

@hydeYep! I went with lua, but mainly because I got to nvim with my old config and everything was working so I was bored. :)

@benjaminhollon @hyde the biggest project for me was getting everything split out of one massive RC file and then converting it to lua. The nice thing is, as you said, you can do it in stages and still have it be perfectly functional in the meanwhile.

@hyde @benjaminhollon for the past two weeks every time I grab my laptop and sit on the couch watching TV I’ve been nuking and starting my nvim config from scratch. I’ve been learning a lot, but at some point I just need to leave it the duck alone.
