Good morning and happy Wednesday everyone!How are we all feeling today? Tell me in the comments what you have planned for the day.For me, it's continuing to play around with @Vivaldi and get it setup the way I want and need it. @CliffWade @Vivaldi I like Vivaldi but it's almost *too much* IMO. Thankfully a lot of it can be disabled.

@jcrabapple @Vivaldi I tend to agree with regards to it's almost too much. Thankfully, default settings are pretty good and not much has to be changed for me personally as of right now. It's nice having all of these options but it is also the reason I feel so many browsers are just so bloated now days.

@CliffWade I've been bouncing around browsers lately. Firefox is awesome especially with some privacy extensions, but lately I've switched back to Chromium (unGoogled Chromium) and wow Blink is so much faster than Gecko.

@jcrabapple What unGoogled Chromium browser(s) are you using?I'm not a fan of Firefox and haven't been for a lot of years now. I don't feel like that's something I could actually use. Vivaldi seems nice, but I do miss Edge in various ways. I'm not familiar with Blink/Gecko. Is that Linux stuff maybe?

@CliffWade Chromium is open source so someone has taken it and compiled it without Google stuff, and released it in a flatpak for Linux.https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.github.Eloston.UngoogledChromiumI love Firefox and I wish it rendered faster. It's still extremely nice to use and I would highly recommend it to anyone.I've never used Edge and I have no interest in it.Blink is the rendering engine used by Chromium browsers, and Gecko is used by Mozilla.

@jcrabapple Ah, very interesting. I used to not like Edge either, but it has small little features that Chrome doesn't have. I haven't used Firefox in a while. To me it always felt slower than most all other browsers. The reason I'm even looking for a new browser is because my job has blocked Edge. Not a big deal as I can use another browser for the one thing I need, but I'd rather have everything in one place if possible.

@kylewritescode @Vivaldi LOL Yep yep. Was commenting there while you were commenting here it seems. Vivaldi seems decent. Just TONS and TONS of options and the overall look of the tab bar and stuff like that I can't seem to get just right and it's really annoying me more than anything.

@CliffWade @Vivaldi Seems that we get used to a browser and set it up a certain way, then when we try out another one, we have a hard time customizing that one to the way the of the one we are already used to.

@kylewritescode Exactly! And it seems like it takes quite some time to set things up, get things in place, get logged in to everything we need to be logged in to to actually do the testing we need to and see if the browser fits our needs or not.

@jcrabapple Ok, I like this band! I've only listened to Ego Displacement and Death, Drugs & Dancing, but both songs are really good. Going to add their stuff to my playlist. Thanks for sharing this as I always like finding new music like this.
