I really need to find a good web browser for Windows that just works and doesn't do stupid things. One that I can import all of my bookmarks from Edge/Chrome into it, one that uses extensions for things like BitWarden, Stylus, uBlock Origin, screenshot tool, note taking tool and a few other things. Where to start and what to look at is the big question here. Got suggestions? Tell me in the comments below!#Browser #Windows #AllThingsTech

@CliffWade I use Vivaldi - Chrome slips in with ease. Very fast and I like it.

@CliffWade @professordey How well does Vivaldi fit these needs? Ye are quite versed with Vivaldi it seems and someone else has already mentioned it too...

@cpep Interesting indeed. I don't use social media in my browser at all, but if I did, this would be pretty handy.

@CliffWade lol, I do not either. I think I am programmed for pretty pics. The @vivaldi link is what I meant to highlight. loads of info on how it works.

@CliffWade is Firefox out of the question? I use it from the beginning and I am quite happy with it. #Firefox #WebBrowsers #HappyUser

I’ve been using Arc for about a month now and feel that it finally replaces Chrome for me. I still have invites if you want to check it out.

@DerDomAusDo Firefox is 100000000% out of the question for me. Just not something I'd ever use again.

@DerDomAusDo I just don't like them in general for various reasons. Browser is too bloated(as is Chrome and most others, I know). I used Phoenix/Firebird/Firefox for many years when it was very first released and I just don't like the road they've gone down over the years.

Use XBrowserSync so that you don’t have to export/import bookmarks all the time. https://www.xbrowsersync.org/ I use it with Chromium and Firefox based browsers without issue.

@CliffWade I use Vivaldi primarily, with Firefox as a backup.Even though I despise the Mozilla team's design decisions with Proton and general shitty attitude towards general complaints about it.
