@CliffWade @EighthLayer One of the main topics I post about is #ScienceFiction. It has other commonly used hashtags, like #scifi and #sff. Sometimes I can't squeeze every version of the tags I want into natural sentences, so I stick the alternate versions at the end.

@bok @EighthLayer That makes complete sense. I hear some people state that putting hashtags in with the body of the text makes it difficult for people who use screen readers.

@CliffWade @EighthLayer It is a, perhaps, ironic comment on the fact that none of the options given included 'in the CW' which is fairly common place that many mastodon users put hashtags. By not mention CWs at all, it is erasing CW usage from the discourse, which is something worth noting.Does that explain my comment sufficiently?

Hence the last comment of Other -> Comment below.Nobody is trying to "erase CW usage" in any way at all here with regards to this poll, so I'd appreciate not being accused of that.
