       @iamstu @rolle I certainly could as it's just a copy/paste into Settings -> Appearance -> Custom CSS.The reason I haven't yet and won't for a while is because I want to have more users on the instance first, and I want to make sure that all users agree to having their instance look like Twitter as there will be some that don't.

       @iamstu @CliffWade Yeah it is VERY opinionated and doesn't really follow the "guidelines" here as its inspiration is directly from Twitter.Someone even suggested my Mastodon Bird UI to Eugen, he didn't answer but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't agree to it in any way :blob_smile_sweat: I still do think the default Mastodon UI needs some "modernizing" to do in the future.

       @rolle @iamstu I completely agree with everything that was stated. The Mastodon UI needs something way better than what it has now as the UI actually looks pretty outdated in a lot of ways. I really hope that an overhaul is in the near future as that alone will help bring in new members as well.

       @CliffWade I am quite skeptical, myself, about changes to make a UI "more modern". The native Mastodon UI is both very usable, and quite flexible. I think a good CSS structure that lets people easily modify it for themselves with new CSS (keeping the default the way so many people like it now), is great.But if some people want more radical Modernization than that, that is IMHO one reason the standard is open, and people can make whatever new clients they want.yellingatclouds.gif@rolle @iamstu
