@CliffWade Arch Linux all the things!I have Arch running on every single computer I'm able to get my paws on, mainly because I can't stand having to swap between using different systems when I'm moving between computers.(obligitory arch btw)

@cliffwade I hope all answer both polls. One, include ChromeOS (ChromeOS have kernel linux and is similar to Android?), the another, can know about the proportion of people that selects between Linux (Free Libre OS) and Unix/MacOS (Closed source).

@glweiss03 @leaferiksen As I've stated numerous times in the comments of this post, it's done like that because polls are limited to 4 options on most all instances. That's exactly why there's a COMMENT option, so that you can simply comment and state what you use.

@CliffWade Primary Laptop, Windows 10. It lives in the bedroom, I now have a Chromebook downstairs so I don't have to keep moving the laptop. I then have a billion (yes a bit of an exaggeration) Raspberry Pis running Raspbian, and a Proxmox server running countless LXCs with different flavours of Linux. Primarily Debian based though.

@CliffWade literally all the above. Windows on my gaming PC, Mac on my daily driver laptop. Linux on my server and crypto rigs.I’m considering moving my gaming rig over to Linux though since Apex Legends has such good support. But I got deterred a few weeks ago when reports about Linux users getting banned started cropping up. So I haven’t made that change just yet.

@jcrabapple @CliffWade For me, I use Ubuntu. It's been the easiest and I was familiar with it as I used it years ago. Before that, I had a friend who installed and helped me dual boot SUSE's Gnome and KDE interfaces. But, that was like...over 16 years ago...Wow.

@jcrabapple Unfortunately I can only do 4 options total, so I'd have to leave one of those 4 off to have the "Other" option. I really hate that Mastodon polls are limited to 4 options by default. I wish that would change to at least 6 - 8, if not 10.

@mdmrn @jcrabapple Yes! I remember that as well, and to be honest, that really helped put Linux more into the mainstream than it was at that time. While I didn't like Mark Noseworthy, he creating Ubuntu and all of that was one of the best things that happened.
