Yes, you can put it behind a reverse proxy and add TLS.

@selea but why stop there, when setting up #Forgejo as a Git server is just as easy and you can push your #Docker images there as well. 😁I did that just yesterday, although admittedly I already had Forgejo running in my home lab and I merely copied my images over from Docker hub.I can really recommend Google's crane for that (although I feel a bit bad recommending Google tech otherwise): https://github.com/google/go-containerregistry/blob/main/cmd/crane/doc/crane.md

@mforester There is a reason I wrote "simple Docker registry" ;)Sometimes, you want something quick, and dont want the additional features that forgejo or gitlab brings with it :)

@selea agreed. 😁Sorry, my comment was meant as an addition / alternative, not to discredit your post. 🙂There are valid use cases where one might only need a standalone Docker registry. I've used that before as well.In fact, I just recently replaced mine with Forgejo, once I figured out that I can store images there as well. No reason to run two services, when one'll do the trick.
