That’s, like… the whole problem. When a private company like Twitter, or your ISP, or any other critical communications channel we use anymore is NOT a public good service, we are unprotected.” And subject to the whims of its owners.

@Catsav @caseynewton @zoeschifferwe first need to agree that we need something like Twitter to serve as a communications channel. that the medium is something more than just another fun social app. if we could do that, we'd next demand that it be decentralized and help journalists better thrive here.
