@Tilopa Some may have assumed I was, but I didn't say so. Putin is the aggressor, Russian and Ukranian people are the victimes, Ukraine is not a government I like v much, & NATO are pursuing their own hypocritical ends, w their usual campaign of encouraging almost permanent war. I'm also puzzled about the lack of coverage of other global conflicts which don't have the same geopolitical significance as Russia/NATO/Ukraine/Putin, but which involve enormous chronic and severe human suffering.

@Tilopa I find it difficult to reconcile the idea of NATO as a "purely defensive" body, with it's constant expansion, both towards the borders of Russia and also in the Far East. Compared to when I was a child (living on UK military bases at home & overseas), NATO is unrecognisable.The post you replied to, includes a very clear statement from me, - quote: "Putin is the aggressor, Russian and Ukranian people are the victims."

@Tilopa @nf3xn Maybe you missed earlier posts of mine both here and on Twitter pointing out the brutal aggression of Putin against the Chechen citizens of Grozny many years ago, or the dangers of ignoring him when he annexed Crimea back in 2014? It might be more instructive to look at who was "complicit" in that, or who turned a blind eye to it back then? Because geopolitically speaking, making abusive assumptions about me on social media, isn't going to save a single life in Ukraine.

I've clearly labelled Putin as the aggressor - as he always HAS been. But you won't find the quote from me that said "it's all NATO's fault". I've been critical of Putin for his whole time in office.
