       From time to time, there's some tentative discussion about what Mastodon and the Fediverse at large should do When the Brands Arrive.I'd argue that the first wave is already here, it's just maybe not the brands we expected — not Coke or Facebook or whatever, but rather Medium, Wordpress, Tumblr et al, staking their claims on the Fediverse and testing out what differences (i.e. changes) they can make to the development of this space.

       @lrhodes We should do the same thing with any non-AGPL server as we did with Gab.  Like I said before, we don't Facebook and Tumblr, they need us.

       @lrhodes Technically there is a brand that predates all the ones mentioned but apparently a lot of people don't know about it because it was rightfully yeeted from the fedi: Pawoo.Oh and addendum: don't just block Facebook, but also everyone who doesn't block Facebook.Remember #isolategab ?  Same thing.
