I logged in to see if there is any news from Fulton Count, and found this piece giving more behind-the-scenes reporting on the Fulton County grand jury.5 of the 23 jurors met with AJC reporters.We learn of the heightened security they received. There was a lawyer among the grand jurors. The tease came at the end: "It's gonna be massive."The first witnesses they heard from were willing to talk. . .. the final group didn't want to be there, resisted the subpoena, and then took the 5th, even when asked about their education. This, by the way, is why initially we were not hearing anything about grand jury appearances in the DOJ matter: It makes sense to start with cooperative witnesses to learn as much as possible. The cooperative witnesses are unlikely to talk about it (at least in federal matters, they're asked not to but it silence isn't required.)It's the angry ones who leak.2/

@Teri_Kanefield @emilyk I think all of his misdeeds and failures energized the anti-Trump voters. His vote count in 2020 was higher than it was in 2016.

@Teri_Kanefield @emilyk this is a special grand jury, so is it normal that the results of their investigations are released?Because that's not the case with normal GJ's, is it?/asking in Australian, not an expert by any means on this GJ system - we don't use them at all
