@Teri_Kanefield speaking of slimey shenanigans, it has been suggested that McCarthy has released footage to Carlson in order to get jan 6th convictions overturn through "Brady" rules???? I could be way off on that. What's your take on that?

@Teri_Kanefield that's how I understand it. Basically a channel I follow summed up that McCarthy is trying to get everyone off the hook by releasing this footage and that includes Trump. I dont know how plausible that is, and so now I'm questioning following this specific channel.

@Teri_Kanefield it's the Meidastouch folks. Essentially saying that the hours and hours of footage has been released in order to challenge convictions as well as challenge ongoing trials. It all sounded a bit too easy to me. Sucks not having the legal knowledge to be able to sift through this stuff and tell what is bs and what isn't lol.

@Teri_Kanefield Remember when Fox News won a court case by literally saying in court that Tucker Carlson isn't serious news and no one with common sense would actually listen him or take him seriously? They are about to do the same thing to wiggle out of this one, except this time around it will be in print that Fox went to court to say that they are in fact an entertainment channel and that no person with common sense takes their "news" seriously.

@Teri_Kanefield I really appreciate the clarity on this. Sort of related point I'd like to make. Last week a YouTube channel I've followed for years now made some claims about a different law in a different state being pushed by a Republican. The host of the channel was basically saying that the proposed law would end free expression in America. After doing my own digging I found out that the law never made it out of committe and was also opposed by the states governor.........

@Teri_Kanefield Yeah and for folks like me.......just reading the titles on some of these videos causes immediate panic attacks. Maybe they think it encourages people to pay attention and engage, but I think it wears people out more than anything else. Just tell us the facts, and rally us to the ballot box, don't cry wolf.

@Teri_Kanefield Unless Bragg is totally incompetent, I just don't see him letting things go this far if he doesn't have a good case at all. I think a lot of speculation is running wild. If you look at both Cohen and Daniel's statements as of late you get the feeling that they are anticipating the hammer to be dropped but who knows. I get feeling that the hush money case may be just a piece of the whole picture.

@Teri_Kanefield I personally haven't seen the point in the rabid public obsession over this case. It is widely accepted as fact that Fox News is republican "state media" and that they are nothing more than a propaganda network. The coverage if all the hosts trashing Trump was great for people to see, but at the end of the day the average fox news addict won't be swayed, even if they know full well they are being lied too. WE are responsible for protecting our own democracy, not Dominion.
