       #Linux lifehack for EU folks: if you want your system in English but without US/UK peculiarities like 5:15pm or Mar 13, 2023 the locale that is both English and uses European formats is en_IE.UTF-8. The difference can be seen below:> env LC_ALL=en_IE.UTF-8 dateMon 13 Mar 2023 19:29:19 GMT> env LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8 dateMon Mar 13 07:29:32 PM GMT 2023kravietz@framework ~>These need to be set in /etc/default/locale and /etc/locale.gen.
