@thomasfuchs As it will probably be taxpayers money used to bail these private companies out, perhaps it is time to start saving money and tell them that they got in to this mess,they can get out of it.

@thomasfuchs I saw the phenomenon in the San Bernardino Mountains last week. A district that has not elected a Democrat to public office since 1967, that flies Trump flags and loudly proclaims that people ought to stand on their own two feet and not take public handouts, has been demanding FEMA help with snow removal.

@thomasfuchs Maybe we need to go back to small independent banks, owned by small cooperatives but updated a little for the modern world. Rather than these huge banks, fuelled by greed, who every few years crash and cause chaos, panic, losses and anxiety for the rest of us.
