       There's an article on my local TV news website talking about installing "weapons detection systems" in schools to keep them safe. Keeping kids safe is a laudable goal, but I too would like to be safe when I leave my house.Does this mean we will need to install such systems in every workplace? Entertainment venue? Grocery store? What places are worthy of being kept safe?And for the ultimate question: Wouldn't it be easier and less costly to just reduce/eliminate the weapons entirely?(Reminder: I'm on a low snark diet.
