@lowqualityfacts Not true, tho. The association of royalty with purple goes way back to "Tyrian Purple" dye, derived from the murex clam (long since fished to near extinction). A coloured robe was quite The Thing, in a world of raw cloth.Also, I don't think there were purple tattoos, until modern times? Blue (eg woad, but also see Polynesia) was pretty universal...
