If I were curious about functional programming languages, without any specific project in mind, what language would you recommend me to play around with?Lisp? Haskell? Clojure? Erlang? Or something entirely different?(I know next to nothing about those languages and would like to change that sometime.)

@irimi1 I know Lisp fans aren't usually too fond of Emacs Lisp, but what I find so amazing is that it's immediately useful if you're an Emacs user. And if you really want to, you can do fancier stuff, too.At the same time, Common Lisp and Emacs Lisp aren't strictly functional languages. It's just a style, and so there's plenty of changing state, global variables, and all of that to be seen.
