       also because I'm using a tiny amount of data and a high resolution, it's actually entirely possible to transform them back with polar to rectangular and still have the code scan. dunno about the resolution they'll appear in game though

       holy SHITI knew QR codes were outright designed to be able to take a lot of punishment and still be able to be read, but I shrank one of the polarized ones to 50x50, used polar to rectangular, and it STILL read properly
