       Is there a name for the tendency for humans to trust the advice and opinions of strangers instead of people we know?ex. When I was consulting full time I would tend to seek out the silenced frustrated people with ideas for solutions. Then I’d parrot what they told me. And, if they consented, I’d give them credit.I do the same thing in some cases.There must be name for this.

       @itsjoshbruce@phpc.social Class prejudice.I’d give them credit.But the majority of managers won't. It's because those silenced frustrated people are low-status, and the consultant is (usually) high(er) status.
