The problem is solved by nostr… that is the point. We just need nostr clients that can open PRs as nostr notes, do code review as nostr notes, issues as nostr notes, etc.

If the web frontend is just a database that uses nostr in the background then no. I would expect the web ui to be a nostr client that talks to nostr directly

actually no but that’s besides the point, it sounds like you’re referring to storing stuff on some server somewhere if you’re forking gitea/gitlab, not client caching.

Sounded like it when you said fork gitea/gitlab. That was my only concern. I highly doubt you could just fork and use those frontends for a nostr client.
