One thing that I love about #Fedilab is the ability to #follow #instances. It allows you to follow another user's #instance, and it appears to be working quite well, with my #federated #timeline having more posts from those instances that I am interested it. Quite nice, I haven't seen it in other #apps yet@apps @fediversenews #fedilab #fedilabs #fedilabtips

@Stark9837 In #Akkoma, if you are an instance admin, you can add other instances to your "bubble". Basically it creates a new timeline for the collection of instances you have in your bubble, and then it follows/federates in all the public posts from those instances. Quite nice, and not as random as the "Known Network" timeline can be.@apps

@ruudActually, you can add Mastodon instances too. That is one of my tests, and I noticed no difference in adding Mastodon instances compared to the two Akkoma instances I added.If I understand it correctly, the ”other” instance don’t even get a notification you’ve added them to your bubble.@apps @Stark9837
