       Ok. I don't really expect someone like Matt Walsh to make sense or be self consistent ... but something I don't understand about people so animated by hate is ... OK so in his lil mind there are these evil people who want to "turn people trans" and it's going to be horrible. And they are miserable and unhappy people too.But, why would any person, even your imaginary boogeyman version of a person work that way? The conspiracy makes no real sense. I guess it's not supposed to.

       I don't like Matt Walsh and I think he's a destructive, selfish person.But I could write a character like him and his motivations would make sense: He's adverse to changing a world that works well for him as it is.Conforming to a gendered role that's "correct" is important. He can't understand why anyone else *wouldn't* do the same-- if he felt like he was failing in this area it would be shattered. So it feels impossible (to him) that anyone could "choose" to ""fail""

       @futurebird Have you heard that he's an ephebophile who does this to feign concern for children and cement a patriarchy that will give him child brides? And that white supremacists are convinced that white children are being conditioned to become gay and trans so they won't reproduce? I did back on Twitter.
