@shrugdealer The heartbreaking thing is that this isn't new. At all.My grandmother (b.1915 d.2014) loved to sew and had an eye for fashion. She wanted to be a dressmaker more than anything. In the depression, there was no market for handmade clothing anymore and she had to take a job as a wealthy family's cook to survive. She made a career out of it, became an amazing chef, and retired as a professional baker when she turned 65. I still miss her cooking, especially her breads and pastries. But during my whole life with her, I always noticed her wistful looks into women's clothing stores and her insightful takes on women's dresses at weddings, parties, etc.I wish I could have seen the things she would have created if given the chance.
