Is there some way, on #MacOS to say "links clicked in these apps open in this browser"I guess what I really want is a way to easy pivot between a workspace for my Work and Personal stuff on the same computer.I click a link in any Microsoft Office or Adobe app, I want it to Open in Edge.I click a link in one of the messenger apps, or my RSS reader, I want it to open in Firefox. That sort of thing.#LazyWeb #AskMastodon #TechSupport

@mattYes, there is. Or at least that you can select which browser to open. For Linux you have Junction.Seems like Browserosaurus is the best one for MacOS, but there are several options.https://alternativeto.net/software/browserosaurus/about/

@matt the issue is that macOS assigns default apps by file type rather than the a file’s/link’s source. So you’d either need an in-app setting provided by a developer or a browser picker where you choose manually for every link. I use OpenIn for the latter https://loshadki.app/openin4/
