@Thomas it was the racism that i was afraid of more than anything and... there were some parts but they were minor and more silly than anything. plenty of sexploitation but, once again, it feels intentionally silly which just undermines any sexism in it.

i think why i would defend this film over other comedies that didn't age well is that while some comedies punch down (even UHF), this didn't feel like it really threw any punches. everyone is goofy in this universe and as the film progresses the knob labeled "bonkers" gets steadily turned up from 1 to 10
