       I've been using Descript for audio and video editing the last couple of weeks, and I loved it. But now it's being buggy, and I can't get anything done. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled it to no avail.I feel like I've seen the Promised Land, and it's been taken away. I'm despondent.

       @grammargirl Uh oh, I'm about to start editing an episode, and I rely on Descript. If it's any consolation, they seem to push updates at minimum once a day, so maybe they'll fix whatever they broke.

       @grammargirl I’ve been using Descript since 2020 and teaching it for a year, and my best recommendation is to use what they call “classic mode” for new projects.You’ll miss some of their newer features (otherwise known as distractions), but it’s so much more stable and usable.
