This has to be at least the fourth time that #Google Assistant suddenly loses the voice selection and goes back to the default voice, until you go in and set it back to what you want. This time it happened in-between asking for the time and a few seconds later asking for the temperature. Crazy.

@Papa I use the male voice closest to HAL -- designated "pink". But when this switch happens it goes back to the first choice on the list, which apparently is the default.

@lauren Huh. we experience that, but more ephemerally - we think it can't ID our voice, and drops make to the "default" voice. Every once in a while it responds in French (which I understand, but still).

@video_manager I don't have voice customization enabled, so that isn't a factor. And like I said, this will happen between to queries literally only seconds apart.

@lauren Well, it might be a complication (the customization), but the seconds apart is also the case -english male when my wife sets a timer, french female when I ask for time remaining on another timer, and english male when I repeat the question. Multi-lingual fun!

@lauren Loss of the selected voice happens to me every so often. Don't know why.But a bigger issue for me lately is an increase in latency of replies to questions. It's inconsistent and is definitely unrelated to question difficulty. "What time is it?" or timer setting sometimes takes several seconds. Used to be instantaneous always.

@lauren I need to set mine back. I had "British female voice" for years (just for fun; I'm American), and it went back to the default American female voice a month or two ago. No idea why.
