       @rdaily If you're looking for a #RaspberryPi at the retail price I'd recommend you check @rpilocator for stock, https://rpilocator.com. Some Approved Resellers have boards stock most weeks, I think @adafruit  puts batches up on Thursdays (Wednesdays maybe?). They get snapped up quickly though, in minutes.

       @rdaily @rpilocator @adafruit As an aside the "estimated shipment date(s)" are generally garbage, they're generated by projecting current supply levels into the future without taking into account any future changes. We expect supply to recover to pre-pandemic levels in the second quarter of 2023, and to be unlimited in the second half of the year. https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/supply-chain-update-its-good-news/

       @aallan @rpilocator @adafruit Lower RAM version is $138 with free shipping and in stock. Depends on your use case, but at least an alternative that is not so backordered. I bought mine just to run SpinRite on my hard drives. A Raspberry Pi can not do that.

       @rdaily I bought 8GB one from canakit.com. Not cheap, but not unreasonable if I just step back a little.
