It's President's Day and we're supposed to be resting. Instead, I am starting a new course on Python via Beej's Guide to Python Programming for Beginners (https://beej.us/guide/bgpython/html/split/index.html).It feels easier than the Harvard EDU course, and since I have already worked on some problems, it feels like (a) a good review and (b) achievable.I know I can learn to program. I'm no dumdum. I just needed to find something that would supplement the CS50P course.

@GayDeceiver Oh, Python is a lot of fun! Also, I like Beej, because he has an entire page full of helpful links devoted to my favourite game:https://beej.us/moria/You can also find a lot of good Python stuff on Codecademy. I pay for a subscription, but there's a good deal of free content too.

@mongoose I’ve never programmed before beyond the point of doing some basic and Fortran in high school (a long time ago), and doing powershell scripts semi-successfully. I’m approaching this like I am a total noob. I know I will learn it.

@GayDeceiver You will! If I can program in Python, so can you. Go for it!

@GayDeceiver I went through what you are with finding the best (for me) python learning platform. If Beej doesn't work out, good luck by the way, I recommend giving https://groklearning.com a try. They have a unique platform with problem solving using python within their builtin Python interpreter. I think its like $40 a year with unlimited access.
