       @mlevie @languagelovers Also, nuts.Mostly, not nuts.You can buy a whole bag of "mixed nuts" here in the UK that doesn't contain a single nut. They're *drupes*.Taxonomists and commercial PR people need to talk more. 😆

       @mlevie @languagelovers Acorns, hazelnuts and chestnuts are "true" nuts, from a taxonomic perspective. Almonds, cashews, pistachios, pine nuts, walnuts and pecans are not.And yes I did just deliberately bulldoze over the nuanced dispute over pecans. Cut me some slack here, it's 12:55am where I am. 😬
