Does anyone actually understand the audience and purpose of the "He Gets Us" TV commercials? The one I saw yesterday and today has the statement "Jesus loved the people we hate." No matter how I try to parse that, it's not a positive statement, regardless of who 'we' might be. If the creators of the commercial are indicating that they 'hate' some people, that in itself is a testament to their lack of willingness to be a part of a collaborative and trusting community.Even so, if *they* hate some people but Jesus loved them, how is that "getting us"?If this is supposed to be some sort of 'rebranding' effort, it's falling miserably with this person (granted, I'm an atheist so the rebranding bar is rather high).

@kevin as a Christian those advertisement seem highly suspect. It's cool even an atheist can see it.
