       Just when I had talked myself out of switching away from an Ubuntu-based distro, my buddy tells me Canonical is trying to go public this year. I looked it up and he's right.Companies with shareholders tend to do what's in the best interest of shareholders even if it's not in the best interest of customers.        @dallin I believe that in certain countries companies have a legal responsibility to put shareholders first. This reinforces not trusting public companies if true. I had already decided to not touch Ubuntu for years now for a variety of reasons.
