       @thenewoil ah the joys of fighting a monopoly. It’s a losing battle anyway as I’m starting to see more sites that have issues on Firefox because the developers primarily support chrome.

       @thenewoil I wouldn't say it *solves* it, but it's a good step in the right direction. Manifest v3 IMO is a solution in search of a problem, but c'est la vie.

       @thenewoil Important to note: Mozilla plans to deprecate Manifest v2 at the end of 2023, too. It spells the death of all adblockers as we know it, unless Mozilla (or Big Ads) changes course and comes up with something better, like maybe an "experimental" API that only works on Firefox, or just actually keeping Manifest v2 alive indefinitely, like they pretend they said.
