       As Spring approaches, I am beginning to take stock of Winter and the #energycrisis.And it blows me away that we really didn't bother with any kind of nationwide retrofit programme.It's is downright pathetic.

       @matthannon we should also have been pushing much harder for *energy* reduction in homes:1. Allow/push hard "Air2Air" mini-split (Aircon) #HeatPump as most of rest of world & business/commercial UK properties already use!) Why  this not part of the solution toolkit is beyond me. My dad did this in Sep'22 2. Push the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (Air2Water #HeatPump) much harder, & remove most of the bureaucracy 3. Bring forward to ~2024/25 no new gas boilers deadline per other European countries
