Nicola Sturgeon has resigned as SNP party leader, and as First Minister of Scotland.I didn't see this coming. @TheBeastOfBaglan Oh no, no worries there. NS was very high profile, home and abroad, but, not the beginning and end of the independence movement. I'd like to see someone be more forthright in their approach to Westminster. However, I'm not an SNP member, it is up to that party to make the selection.

@gemlog I think Ian Blackford will be touted as one of the front-runners. Not sure he would be the best leader (and I know him).
