       The entire point of Rick Scott's idea was so he could get rid of Social Security and Medicare. They all know it, and they are all pretending that they all haven't voted in the past to gut these critical government programs.I am so sick and tired of bad faith arguments and bad faith legislation. The worst line is "we won't cut current benefits" which is another way of saying that Republicans expect future retirees to pay for current retirees and get less out of it for themselves.        @ricardoharvin Thank you.In case anyone isn't aware and I’m thankful for this addition. Scott is the guy whose company had to pay what was then the biggest health care fraud settlement in US history, $1.7 billion for bilking the #Medicare system. Then, the same guy has the astonishing chutzpah to suggest that Medicare, the program he himself looted, should be placed in jeopardy and possibly filibustered to death, yanking healthcare away from literally millions of seniors.People who lounge on yachts in Italy don't have to worry about paying their medical bills.
