@icecubesapp @MonaApp We still love you, but Mona (and Spring) has been around for a long while. It’s super configurable (some of us enjoy the tweaking), and it works really nicely on older machines as well. But we still love, and appreciate, the work you’re doing 😘

@icecubesapp @MonaApp Aww now I feel mean. 😄 To be fair, I used Spring for a long time, so Mona is already very familiar to me. I’ve also been using the private beta. Your two apps are very similar, which is why you’re more likely to see comparisons being shared. It’s not a bad thing, there are bits of both I love - maybe you should have a love child! 🤣

@icecubesapp @MonaApp Of the new apps out there Ice Cubes and Mona are the most promising to me and how I use the platform. Also a fan of Tusker which has been in development for a long time. Toot! has been my preferred app for years but that may be changing soon.

@icecubesapp @MonaApp There’s certain polish to @icecubesapp that @MonaApp doesn’t quite have yet. One thing to note, I don’t see myself recommending it to just anyone because the customization features would scare away casual users. Icecubes however is on my top 3 apps because it’s so slick and well thought out.

@icecubesapp @MonaApp Both apps (and a couple more) are really making this fun. For the record, I’m comparing most apps I’m trying to Ice Cubes(and not to Ivory). Which is a pretty good compliment for Ice Cubes.

@icecubesapp i use icecubes and ivory, not Mona. Mona is way too close to spring I don’t want two identical apps. I use ivory as daily driver but use ice cubes for local timelines which is great. Ice cubes is super nice still
