Friendly reminder that the next few days have a chance to be really weird here on Mastodon. I imagine there will be lots of emotions for/against twitter and there could be another registration wave or nothing could happen at all but people being upset or disappointed. I ask that everyone remember there are humans involved here and not to go crazy reporting people or being mean or jumping into mentions.Give people space to vent, give your moderators time to focus on safety issues and set up mutes and filters if you don’t want to see it all. 👍

@pthane @supernovae It is possible, Mastodon implements the same protocol (OAuth2) that allows "log in with", but it would require the extra step of specifying your instance.

@john @pthane @supernovae Some time ago I saw comment form, similar to these comments via F***book (are these still a thing anyway?) but for Mastodon accounts. So it could work. As I remember this was called Tooot (?).
